Dear honourable delegates, esteemed advisors, and future diplomats,
It is our honour to present the first edition of the Global Youth Summit. GYS hopes to become a platform that not only sees hundreds of delegates from across India debate and develop solutions for some of the most pressing issues on the planet this year, but for years to come. We are ecstatic to watch the debate unfold.
The team at GYS has been working very hard to give the delegates the best experience they ever have. At GYS, we plan to give the delegates an opportunity to take part in one of the five committees-United Nations Security Council, All India Political Parties Meet, United Nations Human Rights Council, US Senate, and Economic and Social Council.
Over the course of two days, GYS aims to challenge delegates to engage and think critically. Through our committees, students will research historical disputes and conflicts, investigate humanitarian crises and responses, and work towards consensus on current international events. Delegates will pass dozens of resolutions that address a wide range of issues, developing leadership and teamwork skills that are crucial in shaping our next generation of world leaders.
To all the delegates- Your experience doesn't matter as long as you are well-researched. We hope that this conference helps you transform yourself and view the world differently.
